I Shall Not Want

A retrograde reflection on surrender, provision & Faith

This week, I broke down.

Not because I didn’t believe. But because my belief was worn out.

I was mentally tired, emotionally heavy, spiritually stretched thin. I cried out to God not for “riches” or answers but for RELIEF. I said “ Lord, I was not put on this earth to suffer. In your word, you say: I shall not want”

Psalm 23 became a lifeline. And while the weight didn’t lift all at once, the shift began.

Without expectation, I started to receive. Not grand gestures. But grace in motion. Moments of support, small signs of care, unexpected resources just enough to remind me: God heard me.

Mercury Retrograde & the Whisper of Faith

Mercury Retrograde gets a reputation for stirring chaos. But sometimes, it’s the spiritual slow-down we didn’t know we needed.

This retrograde taught me to pause not just from movement, but from noise. I remove Instagram, Twitter’s on the way out too. Not because I don’t care, but because I need clarity. Too many voices. Too many distractions. And underneath it all, a soul that just wants to be still enough to hear God again.

What this Retrograde is Reminding Me:

  • Just because you can’t see what’s unfolding doesn’t mean nothing’s happening.

  • You’re not weak for needing rest. You’re human.

  • Faith isn’t loud. Sometimes it’s just showing up for the day tried, but willing.

  • When you stop clinging, provision flows. And it often looks nothing like you expected.

Trust in God always.

Trust in the work you’ve done.

Trust and walk by Faith.

Even if your path is dim. Even if the money’s short Even if you haven’t prayed in weeks.

God doesn’t count your rituals, He counts your heart.

And if this retrograde is doing anything at all, it’s returning us to the truth":

🩷 You shall not want.

🩷 You are never forsaken.

🩷 You are held even in your breaking.

Spiritual Soundtrack

Let this song cover you as you reflect or journal today:

🩷 “In Your Will” by Men Of Standard

A sacred reminder that alignment isn’t always loud it’s a whisper that says: “ I want to be where You are.” Let this be your anthem while Mercury rewinds and God moves.
