Discipline Is a Portal
Becoming Sacred Self or Rhythm + Rebirth.
Lately I’ve been meeting myself through discipline. Not the kind that punishes or pushes — but the kind that prepares. And I’m Learning that discipline isn’t restriction. It’s devotion. It’s showing up for the version of me that already exists — even if I haven’t fully stepped into her yet, Discipline is what I practice when my breakthrough isn’t visible yet but my spirit already knows it’s coming.
It’s waking up early when I’d rather scroll. It’s journaling through resistance. It’s saying no when the temptation to distract myself is loud. It’s choosing the path with soul over the path with speed. Not because I’m trying prove I’m worthy. But because I already am — and I want to move like someone who know it.
Discipline transforms us. Not by changing who we are, but by strengthening our ability to hold what’s coming.
It teaches our nervous system how to stay. It teaches our mind how to focus. It teaches our soul how to stretch without snapping.
If you’ve been avoiding the structure you need — this your invitation to reframe it.
Discipline is a portal. And something greater is waiting on the other side.

Where in my life is God asking me to show up before it feels good?
